In 2020, we invested in renewable solar energy. A total of about 900 solar panels have been installed on our sheds in Stolwijk. These generate the maximum feasible amount of energy within the utility connection. We use the generated solar energy for our own power supply when we are in operation. Any energy that is not directly used we feed back to the utility grid.

The annual output is about 263,270 kWh. With this, we reduced 175 tons of CO2 in the first year.

We also have 552 solar panels on the roof of our new building in which Zijderlaan Truck and Trailer Service is located. This provides our entire workshop with electricity. Because the building is also gas free, and thus uses a heat pump, the building is energy neutral.
