Zijderlaan Truck and Trailer Service in Stolwijk is a fully-fledged company within the group. In our workshop, we carry out all maintenance on our fleet, which consists of 220 lorries and a wide variety of semi-trailers and trailers. We have always handled everything in-house:
- Major, minor and preventive maintenance
- MOT and tachograph inspections
- Overhauls and bodywork
- Hydraulics
- Structural repairs
- Air conditioning service
- Damage repairs (own recovery truck)
- 24-hour breakdown service with a well-equipped service van
The workshop also analyses and reports on diesel consumption figures, maintenance costs and tyre usage per vehicle. By continuously monitoring these figures, we can make quick and efficient adjustments where necessary.

Ultra-modern and energy-neutral workshop
Our state-of-the-art workshop is equipped with the latest innovations in vehicle maintenance, all in accordance with current environmental, health and safety regulations. The premises can accommodate 10 complete vehicle combinations and feature:
- three 40-metre-long pits;
- an environmental storage area for the disposal of all liquids; and
- a fully equipped MOT test bay meeting the latest requirements.
The workshop is equipped with a crane track for lifting heavy engines, for example, mobile lifting columns, a built-in straightening frame for bodywork and chassis work, climate control with extraction and underfloor heating. All of this ensures the best possible working conditions for our team of mechanics.
The building is energy-neutral and built for the future. However the truck industry may develop in terms of sustainability and innovation, the building’s sustainable construction is prepared for it.
Having our own workshop allows us to be flexible, provide rapid service, carry out all work in-house and source supplies competitively, resulting in a lower cost per kilometre. We operate with a team of ten professional mechanics for our entire fleet, which comprises over 220 tractor units and 280 semi-trailers and trailers.
Qualified mechanics
We have a team of 10 mechanics. Through targeted maintenance programmes, they ensure that our drivers are safe on the road. In addition to regular servicing, our certified garage technicians also carry out General Periodic Inspections (APK). We use advanced testing and diagnostic equipment, such as Davie from DAF and MAN-Cats from MAN. This enables us to identify and rectify electronic faults independently.
Our mechanics are highly trained and specialised. We are flexible, respond very effectively and offer bespoke solutions. In addition to mechanical maintenance on the vehicles, our mechanics possess specific knowledge of all kinds of electronic systems that are fitted as standard on the vehicles or added as aftermarket applications.
Special features of Zijderlaan Truck and Trailer Service
Our new premises were completed in the spring of 2022 and were built to the BENG standard: Nearly Energy-Neutral Building. The roof is fitted with 552 solar panels and the building utilises a heat pump. The working environment is optimal thanks to the air-handling system and underfloor heating (which provides cooling in the summer).
