Thanks to our convenient location, we handle the daily transport of shipping containers to and from the ports of Rotterdam, Moerdijk and Antwerp.
With a modern fleet of multiple multi-purpose chassis, we can transport virtually all types and sizes of sea containers: 20-ft, 30-ft, 40-ft, 45-ft, as well as 2 x 20-ft and, for example, high-cube and reefer containers.

Groene Hart Corridor
Zijderlaan is actively involved in the 'Groene Hart' Corridor: an innovative route for container transport by water between the Port of Rotterdam and Bergambacht, via the Bergambacht Transhipment Terminal (OTB). This corridor forms part of the national Joint Corridors Off-Road action programme, supported by the Top Sector Logistics.
Instead of traditional road transport, we are opting for a more sustainable alternative: inland waterway transport between Rotterdam Maasvlakte/City and Bergambacht. This so-called modal shift results in a significant reduction in CO₂ emissions, less freight traffic on the roads, and improved accessibility and quality of life in our region.
Collaboration with other companies and logistics partners is crucial to making this corridor both reliable and profitable. The first major container shipments have now been successfully transported by water, after which they are shuttled on to our storage and transhipment site in Stolwijk.
