A solution for every transport challenge
Depending on their size, quantity and weight, general cargo is transported by Zijderlaan using the most suitable means of transport. With over 45 curtain-sided trailers (five of which have a forklift connection), 15 box trailers (two of which are refrigerated) and around 10 sea container and flatbed trailers, we handle both distribution work and full loads on a daily basis.
A number of trailers fitted with a tail lift and electric pallet truck are used for distribution within the Netherlands, whilst the remaining trailers (fitted with a sliding roof) are used for full loads of a wider range of goods within the Benelux. Zijderlaan is also the right transport partner for longer distances (across virtually all of Europe). Naturally, we take care of the necessary documentation for this.
ADR goods
As standard, all vehicles in our general cargo division are equipped with an ADR kit for the transport of dangerous goods (excluding fireworks and radioactive material). Not only do our drivers hold ADR certificates, but we also have an in-house safety advisor who will be happy to assist you.
Are you also looking for storage for your ADR goods? We store packaged dangerous goods in drums and IBCs at our warehouse in Stolwijk or at third-party facilities.
